#10 Reasons why Mechanical Engineering is the best

#1 Evergreen Field: Mechanical engineering is an evergreen field. Applications of mechanical engineering have spread over such a wide spectrum that it has penetrated into almost every industry. Mechanical engineering got its application started right from the birth of this universe and it will continue till the end of this universe.
#2 Mother Of All Engineering Disciplines: Yeah it’s mother of all engineering disciplines and you know it! Mechanical engineering links all engineering disciplines together and provides a base for all engineering education.
#3 Everything Is Mechanical: Mechanical engineering has its application in all fields of life. May it be medicine, construction, automobile or even software and IT industry. Everything you see around you involves mechanical engineering to some extent.
#4 Everlasting Scope: Scope of mechanical engineering is everlasting. Mechanical engineering graduates can find career placements in almost every sector, right from construction sector to steel industry and from automobile to software.
#5 Best Job Offers: Mechanical engineers get best job offers after graduation. It’s one of the highest paid jobs all over the world.
#6 Social Status: Mechanical engineers are respected in every society. They possess a respectful social status among masses. They are like global ambassadors. Wherever they go, they are treated with respect.
#7 Most Interesting: Mechanical engineering involves study of some of the most interesting phenomena of science and engineering. The basic focus during study is on subjects such as thermal engineering, fluid sciences, machine design, industrial engineering and production engineering.
#8 Even GOD Loves ME: Ever thought GOD also implemented mechanical engineering in nature? Motion of your body, arms, hands and feet involves mechanical engineering. Your heart pumps blood and it runs through all your veins. This is again application of mechanical engineering. The more you look into nature with the eye of a mechanical engineer, you will find more application of it.

The Mechanical Engineering

The field of mechanical engineering has progressed at a quantum rate over the last few decades. One particular area of evolvement is the automobile industry. Initially, luxury was synonymous to the size of the vehicle. Cars with the likes of Rolls Royce, Mercedes and BMW ruled the roads as the elite considered them as a status symbol. Smaller sized vehicles were introduced as an economical solution for the transportation needs of the common man. Then came the sports car era; where the Ferraris and Lamborghinis took the heart of the masses; provoking envy in every heart. American muscle cars also soared high in popularity with cars like Ford Mustang and Chevelle Camaro. Another breakthrough in the auto industry came by the fusion of luxury and class with smaller structures. Powerful engines, beautiful interiors and special features have created small sized wonders.

One such wonder is the MINI Cooper. This beautiful little car has it all;looks, power, style and luxury. The car is a perfect solution for the jam packed roads and announces its quality wherever it goes. However, the looks and features of any product need to be presented with certain panache. After all, it is the communication that creates awareness and generates demand.

Photography plays a vital role in communication, as well as the creative and art direction.  Such a challenge was faced by the production studio Ars Thanea for the photography and 3D rendering of the MINI Cooper S Paceman. With a winning team ofExecutive Creative Director Peter Jaworowski, Lead 3D and Compositing Artist Piotr Kosinski and Production Director Marcin Molski, Ars Thanea delivered and delivered in style. Two color styles of the car were selected for the shoot. The black plus red and the Blue plus white combination shades. Each car was shot with high definition cameras making the looks and features oh so marvelous! Backgrounds matching the car colors were used and the resulting images of the car were as beautiful as the actual thing. With 360° angles of the whole car and breath taking close ups; spell casting interior shots and perfect lighting, the MINI Cooper S Paceman is ready to rock the auto world. The pictures below are a true testament to phenomenal engineering, world class creative direction and amazing 3D rendering. So take this virtual tour and let desires rise.

BMW Motorrad Concept E

With the entire world clamoring the big organizations to go green and reduce its carbon footprints, one of the big wigs of the motor industry which has heard this go green call is the #BMW. Motorrad, which happens to be the motorcycle manufacturing unit of the BMW, has produced a concept by the name of Concept E that will be present in its two wheelers.

The #perky look of the all-#electric #zero-#emission scooter is what will catch your eyes first. The metallic green mixed with stark white gives the onlooker a sense of green happily mingled with technology. But the trendy look is not what it is all about; there is more to it than meets the eye.
If we go to the specifications of the zero-emission scooter then it is designed to give serious #competition to the 400-500cc motorbikes. The scooter comes with a 60-mile range powered by the 60-volt concept that sits underneath the metallic green single sided swingarm. The 60-mile #range can be easily recharged in 3 hours at any 110 #volt #recharge outlet.
#BMW’s sensible #engineering and design is been accentuated by an exhaust fan which is been placed at the rear of the scooter to take out the heat of the battery. The sides of the scooter consist of the white body which not only depict design but will also act as a protector of the scooter from high winds and inclemency. The protective covering of the body of the scooter comes with the grand logo of the BMW which adds a classy finishing touch to the body.
The area of control of the e-scooter highlights the user-friendliness. It consists of touch sensitive buttons which provide basic functioning to the scooter. There is an LCD monitor which will be acting as speedometer as well as the indicator of the total battery life remaining.
The two rear view mirrors are been replaced by the presence of two rear view screens that are been attached in the cockpit area of the scooter which will let the rider know about his/her surroundings at the back. These two rear view screens will be getting live feed from two cameras which are been hidden with the tale lights.
Now a vehicle like this surely gives you the feeling of being a Bond!
